ah the interesting day. i finally got my identification all taken care of with Venturi Staffing,that was great,exceot,my friend went thru all the application process,and finally found out after three hours,during which i was asleepin the car,that he wasnt elligible,because he got arrested for embezzlement,and hasnt served two years probation. poor guy....but at least i got three hours nap in there,wheeee...then came home,checked a few things out,and heres where the interesting thing started.i went to a rich convention.i was at home,having forgotten that my friend had asked me to go to a convention with him,lol when he called,checkedto see if i was going,and so i went.i wasnt going to go,because granny was having blackouts,but she made sure sheran her mouth till i stopped running mine,which is about the only way to win an argument with me. so i went. turns out,it was an entropreneur's convention. the speaker was a man named Greg. i cant remember his last name,but the guy was fascinating. they started talking company jargon(diamond,double diamond,emerald,ruby....platinum....these all seem to represent levels of acheivement,i think.)and he began encouraging everyone to set their standards high,it must have worked,because im not even with the company,and i was motivated. im actually going to check into this thing. from what im told,it only tes 130 bucks to get started,and the gentlmen that was speaking tday,has gone from making nothing,working construction labor,to owning 14 snowmobiles,a huge ranch rght next to the person who has inherited the mcdonalds corporation,and being a multi million dollar man. one story i was told today,was about this man and his sons schhol. the school was saying that the mans son could not be going on trips sooften,as his father travels often,and his family goes with him.well what was his fathers solution? you ask? aw heck,you should already know. he bought his son a school. you heard me,he bought HIS SON a SCHOOL! i never thought id live to hear half the phrases i heard today....such as one wife to another,one said,i got the better looking one,and the other one on stage looked out over the audience and goes,but mines richer!! lol,(the women were sisters it seems,and the men were brothers it seems.....hunh,what a way to go.how exactly does the term in law work there?)what really seemed wierd tho was this: these ppl,actually encouraged each other. not to simply do beter,but to actually set goals,go for them,set high goals,that sort of thing. its surprising really what happens when the type of job changes,......well ill let you know as i go along!!!! pray for me about it,the mans words kee running thru my mind....also pray for me on the job with Fender too if you please?!
