A womans love,
a cork, a movie ticket, a time alone,
these things which a woman holds so dear,
yet a man never thinks of as important....
*sigh* the woman never realizes that a man thinks of his love for a woman as something that should hold itself together,
without the seeming glue provided by these items or moments...
And the man never realizes that the woman thinks of her love as needing reminders...
Reminders of those precious moments which, if undocumented, may be seen to exist in only our memories...
Both, never realize that though their outlooks may be different, they believe in the same thing,
this love that binds them, forever holding them together,
forever ,making them a part of each other whether they acquiesce or not....
Its a simple, yet impossibly complex thing,
the idea of love.
Its something which is never explainable,
existing in a world that demands understanding and explanation.
Both know they understand not what is occurring within them,
but know that even as they cannot explain it,
they feel it,
stronger as time passes.
Subtle yet undeniably there.
It doesnt care about time, restraint, or prior engagements...
It knows only its own agenda,
its own ability to exist in a mind and heart,
which is its domain in reality...
In no other place does it exist,
in no other form can it survive...
Yet...it expands within me,
to fill me with a feeling for this woman,
reaching beyond the boundaries of my mind, heart, and soul..
To be felt in my touch,
the caress of my hand,
the merest loving glance,
the spoken word,
and every part of my body.
I overflow with this feeling for this woman...
Yet..were so uncertain.
Why do we question this feeling?
Why do we not believe that the other may not feel this way,
the way tat we feel.
Is it so much to believe that the feeling may be reciprocated?
That we may be loved in the same way?
This is a feeling that we must learn to accept,
for its value at a glance.
For if we are to concentrate on it,
we may miss the most lovely thing of all:

the love of a woman.
